Just shy of 100 head of Aberdeen-Angus cattle from all corners  of Ireland came together at Virginia Show to compete for the Growvite  All-Ireland Championships under father and daughter judges Willie  Robertson of the Nightingale herd and Catriona Sutherland of the  Abberton herd, Pershore, Worcestershire. In the female championship it was the winner of the senior cow and  calf class which went through to secure the top position for John  McEnroe, Oldcastle, Co Meath. Liss Duchess D573, a March 2004-born  Gigginstown Rolls Royce daughter out of Liss Duchess A327and was shown  with her bull calf at foot. She was later crowned reserve overall champion.
